The Quality Diaspora Funeral Support Plan is a term assurance funeral policy that provides individual and family member cover. It pays a lump sum benefit when the policyholder or covered dependent dies, helping families meet funeral expenses and other welfare obligations.

The policy is renewable every year and expires one year after inception unless renewed.

Complete Proposal Form

Applicants complete the proposal/application form with personal, policy, health and beneficiary details.

Choose Benefit Package

Select Scenario 1, 2, 3 or 4 based on preferred cover level.

Choose Payment Frequency

Monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

Payment Options

Direct collection, cheques, cash/direct debit, or mobile money transfer.

Claims Documentation

At death, the following are required:

  • Completed Death Claims Form
  • Proof of Death: Death Certificate, Medical Certificate of Cause of Death, or certified register entry
  • Any valid identifiable National ID Card
  • Policy Document
  • Affidavit if the policy document is missing

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I withdraw part of the money in my account?

No. This is a pure life one-year term policy, so withdrawals are not applicable.

Who can take this policy?

The plan is mainly for individuals living abroad. The primary insured must be above 18 years and below 60 years.

What happens if I die?

If the policyholder dies while the policy is active, the death benefit is paid to the beneficiary or beneficiaries as a lump sum. The policy automatically expires upon the death of the policyholder.

What happens if I cannot make regular contributions?

The policy lapses after the 31-day grace period. Upon lapsation, the policy is terminated.
